Every coach has a story. Mine began with success in law, but true fulfillment came when I discovered my passion for helping others find theirs.
Within 18 months of practicing law, I had created my own law group operating in three counties in Florida. I was a busy litigator while also in charge of all operations including: hiring, marketing and office management.
While running a successful business taught me valuable skills in mentoring, HR and business, there was clearly something missing. There was this nagging feeling that there just had to be something more, something that would create more fulfillment.
I bravely stepped out of my comfort zone, transitioned to a consulting role and started new businesses while serving on several non-profit Boards. Through this process I re-defined my values, aspirations and tapped into my strengths.
With the help of Coaches and Mentors I was able to pinpoint what I loved doing the most: helping others find their true passions, authenticity and direction within their careers.
Through creating and managing an extremely successful Career Program for Graduate Students at a major university, Joan saw firsthand the powerful impact her coaching had on her clients.
